You Can Now Spend a Night in the Moulin Rouge Windmill

Built in 1889 and immortalized by Toulouse-Lautrec, the Moulin Rouge celebrates its 133rd birthday this year. Moulin Rouge, in the heart of Montmartre, is the birthplace of the famous Cancan, the energetic and glamorous French dance that symbolized the French Belle Époque. To recreate the decorative and stylistic details of this famous historical period, Airbnb collaborated with renowned historian Jean-Claude Yon, an expert on 19th-century French history. The result is a room that authentically reproduces what the interior of the mill might have looked like in those years.
