Tristan Thompson Sells Encino Modern Farmhouse for $7.825 Million
The San Fernando Valley enclave of Encino has seen a lot of celebrity real estate action lately, and the latest comes from NBA player Tristan Thompson, who has successfully sold his 9,864-square-foot modern farmhouse there for $7.825 million, as reported by Dirt.
Thompson, who shares a daughter with Khloé Kardashian, had the home customized to his liking by Ryan Saghian, an LA-based interior designer who also worked with former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum. Marble reigns in the seven bedroom, eight bathroom property, evident immediately from the entryway where floors are covered in marble checkered tiles and the staircase is clad in a different marble. Minimal marble fireplaces anchor both the living room and family room, while gold fixtures and select cabinetry add a glitzy bent. During his time there, Thompson added a plush home theater with a large velvet couch and textured wallpaper.

The home has been on and off the market since July of 2020, when it was first listed for $8.5 million, with the closing price coming much closer to the January of 2022 asking price of $7.9 million. In any case, the sale represents a profit from the $6.5 million Thompson paid in 2019.
Just yesterday, it was reported that Wiz Khalifa spent $7.6 million on a home in the same area, in March Jhené Aiko listed her mid-century Encino spot for $3.65 million, and at the beginning of the year, comedian Marlon Wayans bought a $5.3 million property nearby.
