that’s right! the world design rankings (WDR) for 2021 are announced and we are thrilled to share them. simply put, the participating countries are placed in order based on the number of designers that have been granted with the A’ design award. just like in 2020, china once again wins the title with the highest number of awards won amongst 114 countries. evaluated by an elaborate jury panel, each project from across the world was carefully and fairly studied with talent, creativity and originality being the key aspects. separated into platinum, gold, silver, bronze and iron, it is possible to navigate through the designs of each country as well as each individual contestant. the top 7 countries remain at the same position, while turkey moves up in eighth, followed by germany and australia. while eight new additions make the list, the top 10 winners remain of the same nation.
