Welcome to another edition of the Drop List, where we, self-proclaimed shopping obsessives, give you the lowdown on the most highly anticipated releases and intriguing launches of the past few weeks. From Athena Calderone’s collaboration with Crate & Barrel to Eames and HAY’s splurge-worthy new seat selection, September was a month full of launches to remember. We hope you’ll think of this as a one-stop shop to discover your new favorite brand, an emerging designer, or a fun collaboration straight out of the gate. September 1, 2022 – At the beginning of September, Diptyque released its signature scent, 34 Boulevard Saint Germain, in a new line of products that should make for a nice pick-me-up before temperatures start to really dip. Diffusing fresh notes of moss, crushed blackcurrant leaves, florals, and spices, this woody scented candle in a limited-edition vessel is a refreshing homage to the brand’s history and sure to be a refreshing update to your coffee table setup.

September 7, 2022 – Since fall is officially upon us, we think you’ll want the latest release from Vitruvi to keep sinus issues and chapped lips stylishly at bay. September 12, 2022 – In case a bedding refresh has been on your mind, we’re happy to report that one of our favorite lifestyle brands, Parachute, landed at Nordstrom earlier this month. In addition to all the impossibly chic and well-made bedding, bathroom products, rugs, loungewear and more that are now readily available to shop at the department store, the collaboration also brings an exclusive colorway, Slate Blue, to a few of the brand’s offerings, like this lovely linen sheet set.

September 13, 2022 – Here’s a collab we love: A couple of weeks ago, Clever-approved stylist and entrepreneur Beverly Nguyen teamed with the cool-kid kitchenware makers at Material to revamp the brand’s classic knives trio. Made from a Japanese high-carbon stainless steel combo and now available in a specially designed sage green, the set is sure to help you prepare all the fall soup recipes you’ve been saving since June.

September 15, 2022 – In case you weren’t aware, today wraps up Clever’s second annual Seat Week, where we gave you the lowdown on the best chairs, sectionals, couches, and more to treat your cheeks. In keeping with the theme, we think this new conversation pit-inspired sofa from Sarah Ellison’s latest Float collection should be on your radar. After all, our digital design editor Sydney declared that her Muse two-seater from the designer “couldn’t be more practical for our modern times.”

September 15, 2022 – Umamicart’s new collaboration with Moon Man is giving a whole new meaning to “tea time.” Together, the female-founded online Asian grocer partnered with the jam makers to release a Thai iced tea flavor made with black tea spiced with warm star anise, tamarind, and cardamon flavors. What’s even sweeter? Every jam sold will benefit Heart of Dinner, the charitable organization that’s combating food insecurity and social isolation within New York’s elderly East Asian American community.

September 16, 2022 – These candy-colored seats are another release that delighted us in September. Designed by Holloway Li in collaboration with Uma, the T4’s modular capabilities make it the ideal pick for anyone who loves to rearrange furniture. With a joyful color palette which includes Melon Yellow, Overground Orange, Cream Soda, and this lovely Blush Pink, it’d be easy to mix-and-match multiple pieces for the dreamiest of seat setups.

September 20, 2022 – If artisanal olive oils spark joy for you like they do for us, the latest from Brightland will likely tickle your fancy. Meet Aurora, Brightland’s newest (and highly requested) rosemary-infused olive oil. Crafted from early-harvest Arbosana olives and blended with a rosemary extract, this aromatic oil is sure to be a well-loved staple in your pantry for any and all savory meals (or even just to drizzle on fresh bread).

September 20, 2022 – In September, Vitra revived a slate of Jean Prouvé’s classic designs for a new generation, including the iconic Standard Chair in five new shades. While you can’t go wrong with any of the new hues, we’re partial to this Blé Vert, a relaxing green inspired by budding wheat grass.

September 21, 2022 – If there was ever something to celebrate on the 21st of September, it would be the newly released Neva chair for kids from Sixpenny. Shrunken down to a petite size, this piece is the perfectly comfortable addition to any play area or kid’s corner. Available in three colors, each mini chair also comes with two child-friendly slipcovers: the brand’s classic cotton linen and a fuzzy faux fur to achieve the cozy look.

September 27, 2022 – This week, stylish drink brand Taika unveiled its newest beverage, a sparkling yerba mate tea named Mateverse. Lightly carbonated and “designed to keep you feeling inspired, not wired,” the bev features a unique combination of yuzu, L-theanine, and organic lion’s mane mushroom to get your creative juices flowing.

September 27, 2022 – With the holidays not too far off, Our Place’s new tableware seems like the perfect “buy now, use later” splurge. While items are available to purchase individually, this 17-piece bundle has everything you need to create a picturesque tablescape for the upcoming feasts you’ll be hosting. Personally, we’d opt for the set in this seasonally appropriate terra-cotta colorway, which includes the original nonstick Always Pan, Full Plates, Midi Plates, Midi Bowls, and Night + Day Glasses in a rosy orange hue.

September 29, 2022 – Vintage and modern aesthetics collide with this new collaboration between Gianfranco Frattini and CB2. Known for his influential designs of the 1950’s and ’60s, which helped shape the Italian design movement, this collaboration worked on exclusively with his heirs and Form Portfolios is an homage to Frattini’s legacy through richly textured materials and thoughtful decor silhouettes.

September 30, 2022 – For anyone who’s looking to be more adventurous in the kitchen, famed Copenhagen-based Noma released a rose-infused vinegar today that’s sure to have you feeling like a Michelin-star chef. The new vinegar features handpicked wild rose petals (one of Noma’s favorite ingredients!) from beaches in Denmark and is designed to add floral notes to whatever culinary creations you choose to embark on.
