Sylvester Stallone Lists Hidden Hills Compound for $22.5 Million

Sylvester Stallone has had a busy year in real estate. The Rocky actor kicked off 2022 by selling his Mediterranean-Style Beverly Hills abode to Adele for $58 million–one of the priciest celebrity real estate transactions of the year. A couple of months later, he spent $18 million on a Hidden Hills compound that he is now returning to the market with a $22.5 million asking price, according to the Los Angeles Times. 

The Hamptons-style house sits on a nearly 2.5-acre lot, which also hosts a guesthouse, a swimming pool with an inset spa, an orchard, a pool house, an ivy-covered loggia, a horse barn, and a riding arena, all enveloped by mature trees and lushly landscaped grounds. Together, the main and guest houses cover over 10,000 square feet with four bedrooms and six-and-a-half baths.

Ivy grows along the stately white facade of the main house, which was redone by AD100 designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard under a previous owner’s tenancy. Bullard has designed homes for a star-studded list of clients that includes Cher, Kendall Jenner, and Ellen Pompeo, whose Malibu house designed by Bullard was featured on Architectural Digest’s January 2023 cover. The acclaimed designer gave this two-story home a crisp neutral facelift, adding sunny skylights, painting the walls white, and supplying contrasts of elegant dark wood.

The double-height foyer features a winding wood staircase and balcony. Just beyond, a formal living room is complete with soaring vaulted and beamed ceilings, a fireplace, and sliding pocket doors leading to the backyard loggia. Nearby, the kitchen is centered by a big granite-topped island, complete with a farmhouse sink and a breakfast bar. The spacious primary suite offers two massive walk-in closets dotted with chandeliers and an ensuite bathroom complete with a steam shower and soaking tub. Additional amenities include a home gym and a movie theater.
