Nastro System bends, folds, suspends and interconnects. Studiopepe expands the lighting system for TOOY as the numerous configurations and customized compositions take over walls and ceilings, available in a number of finishes. The revised slim and sinuous modular version of the collection is designed by combining pure elements, where the various geometric arrangements become suitable for any space. In the occasion of Fuorisalone, TOOY’s celebrates Nastro System’s extension in its Milan showroom, that opens for the first time in 2022.

Founded in 2015 by Valeria Giacomozzi and Valerio Tidei, TOOY originates from the desire to introduce sophisticated products defined by strong craftsmanship and originality. The collection originally declined into table lamp, floor lamp, applique, ceiling lighting as well as outdoor versions. Studiopepe reenters the game and Nastro System becomes an architectural element as its several shaped modules can be assembled to form longer lines through more bending and curvature. With a cylinder and a ribbon that can be arranged freely, endless possibilities of compositions begin to flow on the walls and ceilings – whether as suspended or wall-mounted systems.

tooy’s nastro system bends, curves & elongates

 

The collection is available in different finishes including beige, eggshell, terracotta, greenish grey, and sand black, while the cylindric weight comes in epoxy powder coated metal, wood, brushed brass and raw concrete. For further freedom, Nastro’s structure can be morphed either in straight lines or in geometric shapes that can fit into any room or wall, all completed with the option of a dimmable LED light source.
