Located at the San Francisco Aquatic Park, the Maritime Museum is housed within a Streamline Moderne style bathhouse that was a joint effort by the City of San Francisco and the Works Progress Administration in 1939.
The building is a designated National Historic Landmark and one of the most significant historic resources in San Francisco.

ARG has served as Architect for restoration projects at the Maritime Museum for NPS for over 30 years.
Projects were wide ranging from building envelope waterproofing to conservation of artwork.
Several projects included: waterproofing and maintenance assessments; historic window feasibility study leading to a window replacement project; re-roofing of flat roofs to protect historic murals; exterior restoration of cement plaster; restoration of the historic bas relief sculptures, removal and reinstallation; feasibility study for restoration of historic fountain and construction documents..
