saint laurent x SUPER73 launch unique restricted version electrical bike

an exclusive saint laurent x super73 collaboration 

making its mark beyond the world of fashion, saint laurent has partnered with SUPER73 to launch an exclusive limited edition of the SUPER73-S2 electric bike. combining modern performance and classic aesthetics, the automobile sports an all-black matte finish, custom leather seats and handles, a black chain, and a single headlight. its look is of course completed with YSL branding details on its frame, tires, and seat.

the newly unveiled bike is based on the SUPER73-S2 (see here) but features design influences from saint laurent. designed by anthony vaccarello, who has been the creative director of the fashion brand since 2016, the model showcases a geometric, rhombus-shaped frame inspired by classic american motorcycle culture, with a cafe racer style seat and an electric battery pack that looks like a fuel tank. the e-bike is powered by a rear-hub mounted DC motor, with 2,000 watts of peak power that will allow for a top speed of 28 mph. in addition, it is compatible with iOS and android devices for smart pairing through SUPER73’s mobile app. 

this limited edition S2 electric bike could be yours for $6,500, but you have to be quick, as it will be available in limited quantities. in fact, there will only be 50 sold, 25 in the US and 25 in Europe.
