Radical Innovation Call for Entries – Hospitality Projects
What the judges are looking for:
1. Hospitality-Focused: Is this truly a hospitality concept? Submissions must be rooted in hospitality, meaning they should encompass key aspects of the industry such as guest accommodations, F&B, amenities, or wellness experiences. Successful submissions will not only enhance the physical space but also consider operational efficiencies, technology integration, or sustainability initiatives that improve both guest satisfaction and business performance. Judges will be looking for ideas that truly belong in a hospitality setting and provide value beyond aesthetics.2. Innovative: Does it push boundaries in the industry? Entries should introduce fresh ideas, whether through new technologies, creative business models, or reimagined guest experiences. The goal is to move hospitality forward in a meaningful way.3. Impactful: How does it enhance hospitality? Judges are looking for concepts that elevate the guest experience or improve hotel operations, solving real industry challenges rather than just looking good on paper.4. Feasible: Can this be implemented in the real world? Submissions should outline a clear path to execution, including key development steps. Ideas should be bold but achievable.5. Visually Compelling: Does it communicate the idea effectively? A strong submission will include detailed sketches, renderings, or a 3D model that clearly illustrate the concept and its impact.
The proposed Hospitality Project concept should encompass guestrooms, food and beverage offerings, amenity spaces, wellness experiences, immersive design, technology integration, operational efficiencies, sustainability initiatives, or other elements that enhance and redefine the hospitality experience.

– Prize money awarded to the Student or Recent Graduate Project Winner– Networking and mentorship opportunity with industry leaders in design and manufacturing– The Student or Recent Graduate Project Winner will have the opportunity to apply for an assistantship and full scholarship from our University Partners– International recognition on media outlets, social media, and the website– Airfare and hotel paid for in New York City for the awards ceremony
Open to the public/Minimum requirements (Open to anyone that complies with the requirements), Single stage (Winners selected immediately)
Open to Professionals, Students, and Recent Graduates.
In the submission process, submit the following attachments:
1. A compelling presentation (PPT or PDF) that effectively communicates the project concept, its significance, and the potential impact.2. Detailed sketches, renderings, and/or a video of a 3D model illustrating the product.
In the application form, answer the following questions:
1. What is your project? Clearly articulate the unique features and functionalities of your hotel concept. Consider what makes your hospitality concept unique compared to what is currently on the market.2. What hospitality problem is your project attempting to solve or how is it elevating the guest experience?3. Provide an estimate of the timeframe required for successful implementation of your project and describe the path you will take.4. Do you have any team members? Provide their name(s) and email(s).5. What is your company/University name? If you graduated within the past year, please include the name of your University.6. How do you hear about Radical Innovation?7. If you are a student, upload a picture of your student ID.
