Within the luminous tower of Foster + Partners‘ Selene tower, the Sky Collection homes range from one-bedrooms to a duplex full-floor penthouse. Each opens up with lofty, eleven foot-high ceilings and undulating walls of full-height glass which flood the interiors in natural sunlight. The tower hosts no more than two homes per floor.
Each home within the Sky Collection features an open kitchen with custom cabinetry of wire-brushed oak along with an appliance suite by Gaggenau. Baths are accessorized with unique details such as Foster + Partners-designed bronze and oak vanities, radiant heated flooring, and freestanding soaking tubs. Elevating the luxury apartments further, select tower homes even offer a private elevator entrance.
Meanwhile, the gallery-style residences of the Modern Loft Collection feature architectural concrete walls, diamond-polished high-grade concrete flooring, and ribbed concrete ceilings. In addition to these thoughtfully considered concrete elements, the lofts boast Foster + Partners-designed custom millwork, floor-to-ceiling windows, and double entry doors in select residences.

a wellness sancuatry in a bustling neighborhood
Foster + Partners’ Selene New York tower includes its own ‘urban sanctuary,’ which introduces four stories of wellness and social amenities. Encompassing the fourth floor, the wellness-focused amenity spaces include a 60-foot sunlit, arbor lined swimming pool, a cardio fitness room, weight room, pilates/ballet room, yoga room, sauna, steam room, spa treatment rooms and his-and-her private changing rooms and showers.
On the third floor, Selene boasts amenities curated for residents’ social life including the stunning Atlas Club & Library furnished by interior designer William T. Georgis. Georgis also furnished the building’s lobby, which features custom furniture by his design alongside a dramatic fireplace and an art installation by celebrated American artist Rachel Feinstein. Residents of Selene also enjoy direct elevator access to the Michelin-starred Le Jardinier, the first New York City restaurant designed by the award-winning architect and interior designer Joseph Dirand.
