Comedian and television icon Larry David is the latest celebrity to trade one Montecito estate for another in the lucrative buy-and-sell game that A-listers love to play in the well-to-do California town. After profiting on the $6.9 million sale of the French Normandy-style cottage that he bought earlier this year, the Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator just bought another Montecito home for $7.6 million–$600,000 over the asking price, according to Dirt.

David’s new property is a traditional-style house with five bedrooms and five bathrooms across 4,326 square feet. Built in 1917, the single-level structure has undergone extensive renovations but retains some of its original charm with vaulted exposed-beam ceilings, built-ins, and vintage fireplaces. Decked out in classic coastal style, the home’s interior would not look out of place in a Nancy Meyers movie. In the bright living room, white wooden beams adorn the pitched ceiling, which features a cupola that adds an extra dose of sunlight to the space. Additional skylights are found in the Tuscan-inspired kitchen, which has a wooden island, a butler’s pantry, and sandy-hued tiles on the counter and backsplash. The adjacent dining room is decorated with textured light gold walls, white wainscoting, and a shaded chandelier with matching sconces.

The primary suite offers a fireplace, dressing room, and an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub. One of the four guest bedrooms is located in an attached suite with its own bathroom and private entrance. Throughout the home, French doors fill the interiors with light and open to the manicured backyard, which boasts a large brick terrace, French gardens, gravel pathways, lemon trees, and fountains.

David and his wife, fellow television producer Ashley Underwood, still maintain a primary residence in the Pacific Palisades and a home on Martha’s Vineyard.
