Our aim for this hospitality design is to create a cohesive experience i which we have taken the main concept of the terracing staircase and integrated this further throughout language of the site and the project. With the use of local traditional materials Thai culture has been incorporated into the project on a grass roots level offering totally immersive sustainable experiences.

Lobby areaThe main lobby is a semi-open space to emphasize on the views of the ocean, greenery, roof access and amenities adjacent to this. It breaks the barrier of traditional entrances and opens up accessibility to the resort. Storage rooms are provided behind the reception desk and a larger back of house area is located within the structural core.

The main desk is made from local rattan and continuously flows into an sculptural light throughout the space. The lobby seating area is 1 m lower then the reception area to allow for separate lounge zoning while you are unwinding by the ocean view and breeze, a true sanctuary.
The lobby has direct access to the roof with the giant spiral stair.

Alternatively a nature walk experience gives access to the rooms, beach front and activity / entertainment spaces.Luxury roomThe room concept chosen is Thai tropical luxury. Using a variety of natural timber materials, plants, local pottery and curtains, a warm environment is created that blends in with the outside views. The ceiling reflects the giant staircase concept and the rattan ceiling light is responding to the lobby light to allow for continuation of the project language.

Pool AreaThe pool area has been a unique part of the project since day one. With the ebb and tide in mind we are able to create a salt water pool which adapts with the water levels. The giant staircase concept has been integrated into the beachfront area which allows the swimming pool and restaurant area to become part of this landscape.

The stepped hard paved landscape functions as a hospitality and chill zone which includes the dining experience. By stepping up the landscape towards the restaurant there is always a great view of the ocean..
