Katy Perry Sells Regency-Style Beverly Hills Home for $18 Million


Pop singer and songwriter Katy Perry just broke even on the $18 million sale of her Beverly Hills mansion after placing it on the market in March for just under $19.5 million, according to Mansion Global. The “I Kissed A Girl” singer bought the house for just around $18 million back in 2017.

With five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the gorgeous Hollywood Regency-style house is just over 5,400 square feet and sits on more than an acre of land in the celeb-filled neighborhood, reports the Los Angeles Times.

A dramatic stone-paved tree-lined driveway with solid black gates runs for a quarter-mile up to the house’s storybook entrance framed by ivy, trees, and two oval-shaped windows. Interiors receive lots of natural light from a “sky-lit entry gallery” and numerous windows and French doors throughout, as per the property’s listing with Brett Lawyer at real estate brokerage Hilton & Hyland. Doors and windows also allow spectacular views of the lush landscaped backyard that includes an infinity pool, a treehouse with a climbing wall, and the forested parkland beyond. The expansive main bedroom also boasts several French doors with views to the backyard, and a fireplace.

Additional features of the home include a chef’s kitchen with a separate prep room, “step-down living room with a fireplace, a media room, large sky-lit gym, and sauna”, according to the listing.

The former American Idol judge currently lives with her fiancé of three years, Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom, and their one-year-old daughter, Daisy, in a nine-acre Montecito, California, property they purchased together for $14.2 million back in 2020.
