‘ISE 2023 goes above and beyond expectations,’ says director Mike Blackman.

Following a successful show in 2022, ISE returns for the 2023 edition at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. The world’s leading exhibition of innovative technology brings together core sectors that make up the global Audio-Visual (AV) and systems integration industry. With over 900 companies participating, the rich schedule includes conferences, keynote speakers and tech-talks, all designed to give people the opportunity to expand their knowledge on technology through business developments and market trends as well.

‘We can’t wait to return to Barcelona with ISE 2023. 2022’s show exceeded expectations, and we are looking forward to a bigger and even better event at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via in January 2023. We already have a great show floor packed with industry-leading brands and we’re working hard to ensure that, yet again, ISE goes above and beyond expectations,’ states Mike Blackman, Integrated Systems Events Managing Director.

To make navigation easier, exhibits are set across six different Technology Zones: Unified Communications & Education Technology; Multi Technology; Audio and Audio Demo Suites; Digital Signage & DooH; Lighting & Staging; and Residential & Smart Building, the latter of which includes CEDIA‘s stand and their Smart Home technology stage, featuring content and events throughout the show. As co-owner of ISE, together with AVIXA, CEDIA has also been hosting focus groups with smart home architects and interior designers as part of its outreach program. The overall aim is to increase the dialogue between the smart-home design with the build and home technology community, and in the process make each more aware of what the other can bring to the smart table.

UNREAL ENGINE BUSINESS DIRECTOR BK JOHANNESSEN TAKES THE STAGE

Keynote Speaker BK Johannessen, Unreal Engine Business Director for Broadcast and Live Events at Epic Games, opens up the event. As industry after industry adopts real-time visualization technology, Johannessen discusses how content creators are taking innovations from the game world and applying them to their projects, from cutting-edge, broadcast virtual production studios to real-time graphics for media & entertainment, live events, architecture, and more. Entitled ‘All Paths Lead to Real-Time’, the talk takes place at 17:15 on Tuesday 31 January in the Conference Suite CC4.1.

‘We are delighted to have secured BK Johannessen as our headline speaker. As audiences, customers and consumers return to something like a normal life, there is an insatiable demand for content on digital signage, live stages, videowalls, experiential art and advertising, and virtual and VR experiences. The work that can be seen all over the world from creators using Unreal Engine is truly extraordinary and we cannot wait to hear more about it,’ continues Mike Blackman.
