Text description provided by the architects.

The project was inspired by the Biblical accounts of the Resurrection of Jesus, recreating in contemporary form, the cave where Jesus had risen on Easter morning. It was selected as a Special Mention in the Architizer A+ Awards for the Architecture +Small Projects in 2022.The mausoleum is at the from and center when viewed from the lawn dedicated to underground burials.

Its height and form stands out from its neighbors and the dark interiors create a triangle that seems to point towards the heavens. Sitting on a perfect corner lot, unlike any other plot in the memorial park, means views to and from the HB Memorial will never be obstructed which called for an iconic form.

The mausoleum faces east and has its entrance at the corner of the two pathways making both facades the front of the structure. White marble shall clad the exterior walls with the veins perpendicular to the entrance as if light shines from within..
