Harry Styles’s New Music Video Is Giving Us Serious Bedding Inspo
The second single from Harry Styles’s newest album Harry’s House now has a visual to accompany it, and like the rest of his home-themed album rollout, we love it. The music video for “Late Night Talking” showcases Styles in various beds with assorted fittings, seamlessly transitioning from one scene to the next and creating a super playful and upbeat style of storytelling. There’s even an epic pillow fight just before the end of the video, and, side note, he wears two different pairs of custom-made Gucci PJs. There’s endless bedroom decor inspiration in this video, and if you were curious as to where you can purchase similar pillows, sheets, and other items for your own bedroom, we’ve totally got you covered.
Rise and shine
In the opening scene, a confused and sleepy Styles wakes up in a bed fitted with a pastel yellow quilted blanket. In a serendipitous instant, he dives headfirst into a random rabbit hole in the middle of the sheets.
This buttercup yellow diamond quilt creates a similar buoyant and bohemian feel, and it is decorated with embroidered and tassel trim.
Slumber party
Now sporting brown-and-blue polka dot pajamas, Styles crawls through from a teepee of white sheets and then suddenly pops up into a colossal bed which accommodates a party of over 10 people, and is fitted with a luxe red velvet duvet and coordinating pillows.
Fit for royalty
Fast-forward a few scenes, and Styles now hits the hay with more red velvet bed sheets, coordinating gold and red pillows and some more with gold embroidered frills, complemented by a Baroque-style headboard. For a similar maximalist style in the bedroom, consider posh silk pillowcases by Slip (available in a variety of hues), or if you really want to splurge, an accent pillow with antique metallic trim and tassels can be a luxurious addition.
Bohemian dreams
In the next scene, Styles cozily cruises through traffic in a playful vintage mash-up of bedding items including abstract and floral print pillows, a striped throw blanket, a blue embroidered duvet, oversized silk pillowcases, and lots of other bed fittings with contrasting textures.
To achieve a similarly eclectic look, opt for bedding with color blocking and patchwork designs. You can also include throw pillows designed with shag tufting, decorative fringe, and tassel embellishments that come in an assortment of muted and punchy shades.
On cloud nine
In the last scene of the music video, Styles seamlessly cascades through stormy weather and then a partly cloudy climate. He does this all while still in bed with minimalist striped sheets and white ruffled pillows, an absolutely classic look that would work in almost any bedroom.
