#togetherwechange
Under the motto ‘Together We Change’, GREENTECH FESTIVAL (GTF) is a global platform for sustainable technological solutions. It unites starts-ups, corporations, environmental activists, politicians, researchers, experts, and consumers in a common cause: the protection of the future of our Earth. The innovations on show are there to help all be more resourceful – no matter whether an individual or company.
‘The world is facing big challenges and we have big plans – so it will be exciting to see and experience everything in Tegel. We are very happy about the cooperation with Berlin TXL and proud to be able to host the event in June in Berlin. The GREENTECH FESTIVAL wants to drive positive change and we can only do that together with the entire GTF community – online, but especially offline. Hence our motto for this year ‘Together We Change’ – with this thought we all invite change–makers and thought–leaders to come to Berlin and to shape the sustainable transformation with us,’ says Nico Rosberg, Co-founder of the GTF, sustainability entrepreneur and Formula 1 World Champion.
In 2022, a key issue is energy independence. The event brings real solutions, idea and discussions with a diverse curation of stakeholders to tackle these concerns. Other topics range from climate protection to decarbonization and the sustainable transformation of sectors and industries. Innovations on show not only pinpoint ideas for Berlin but also the rest of the world. Stations set specific international locations for ideas: New York’s stage focuses on mobility, London explores energy and finance, and construction and building infrastructure is challenged in Singapore’s exhibition.
Innovations on show are set to inspire visitors. Three start-ups take center-stage: Sonnen, NEU Zero Waste, and Airive. Sonnen is introducing products to aid households in intelligently switching to energy power storage. This is in the mission of turning our homes completely renewable. NEU Zero Waste has realized a recyclable packing. Made from aluminum, the containers hold food products but, uniquely, can be closed again and again after consumption to ensure it it returned and reused. Last but not least, Airive debuts a software platform for the structured decarbonization of vehicle fleets and business trips. A client’s current CO2 footprints are analyzed before real concrete reduction targets are defined.
