The Genesis House is an urban oasis uniquely positioned on NY’s Meatpacking waterfront to offer visitors nourishment and inspiration. The Korean automotive brand’s 46,800 sq ft destination is not a retail showroom, but a longterm investment in a cultural conversation with NY about traditions and modernity in a mobile age.
A dramatic copper curtain spanning the entire ground floor facade draws viewers in with its shimmering contours.
Once inside, its first floor presents a living room of Genesis’ latest automotive designs in the brand’s signature
materials–copper, steel, concrete, oak, reflection.

A flipdot wall hums the story of mobility while four streamlined machines and life-sized doors invite inspection.
A customized copper and steel concierge desk and elevator guide visitors above and below.
A Korean roofscape based upon the last emporer’s family residence hovers above the entire second floor. Outliningits traditional contours in a single gesture, this vast space is organized as a village of distinct, intimate zones: thecelebrated Onjium restaurant, a Korean tea pavilion, art library, gift shop and individual seating areas.Each space is discovered at one’s leisure against the panoramic views of the HighLine and Hudson River.

Within the central tea pavilion, guests sit sipping teas surrounded by a curated library of texts and handcrafted vessels by Korean artisans. The outdoor terrace continues the courtyard experience in an intimate urban landscape.
Once below in the cellar floor, visitors encounter a cinematic experience unlike any other—a continuous LED ceilingto-floor surface envelopes its subject in a complete sensory experience on stage while viewers witness each event in flexible arrangements.
Genesis House thus ushers in a new culture of craftsmanship and service that defies conventional branding,
engaging New York in a conversation about the things that move us with the exceptional experiences its spaces provide..
