Finneas O’Connell Sells Beachfront Malibu Home for $5.6 Million

Eight-time Grammy Award winner Finneas O’Connell, mononymously known as Finneas, is parting ways with his Malibu home. The successful singer-songwriter, producer, and actor has worked with a handful of notable artists, most famously his sister, Billie Eilish. It was the same year her incredibly successful debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? earned both O’Connell and Eilish their first of numerous Grammy awards that he snagged the Malibu pad for $5.2 million.

Now, two years later, O’Connell has sold the dwelling for $5.6 million. The buyer was Jennifer Smith, founder and Editorial Director of C Magazine, who purchased the house fully furnished.

The cottage is located on an exclusive stretch of beach off of the Pacific Coast Highway. It features charming beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, and a gourmet kitchen featuring white cabinetry with glass panels, Sub Zero and Wolf appliances, and bar seating. The main living space is open-plan, meaning the kitchen connects to a cozy seating area and a dining area, all with ocean views. Above the dining table there is a unique chandelier shaped like a sailboat.

The primary suite is finished with a steam shower, outside hot tub, and direct access to the sandy beach from the abode’s private decks. There’s plenty of outdoor seating on the upper and lower decks to sit and watch the waves after a long day on the beach. There are even hanging chairs.

Eric Haskell of The Agency represented the buyer and Tori Horowitz of Compass was the listing agent.
