Rattlesnake Tail Pendant by coppertist.wu

Coppertist.Wu has ventured into the more creepy side of wildlife with its Rattlesnake Tail Pendant. Made of brass and copper, the studio’s latest accessory is inspired by one of the most venomous snakes in the United States, known to shake its rattle tail 40-60 times a second at the first sign of threat, setting off a loud and skin-crawling sound to scare off its predators. ‘Each link of the snake’s tail can be moved, and the sound produced by the collision between the links reproduces that of a real rattlesnake,’ explains the collective.

shake the keratin links to set off the skin-crawling noise!

Weighting 16.4 g and spanning about 60 mm in length, the Rattlesnake Tail Pendant is made of keratin, the same hard substance that makes up our fingernails. That said, Coppertist.Wu (see more here) crafted the accessory to be completely hollow on the inside, letting the noise set off only from the hard keratin links hitting each other at high velocity. On top of keratin, the item was handcrafted using high-quality brass to uplift its practical and aesthetic qualities. shake it up feel the creepy sound of a rattlesnake at any time its so crazy 2
