fashions stroll throughout mirror islands on the LGN x JOEONE double vogue present
paf atelier’s mirror-themed scenography for the LGN x JoEONE double fashion show in paris
french firm paf atelier has recently completed the scenography for the double fashion show of emerging designer louis gabriel nouchi (LGN) and chinese menswear brand JOEONE — adorning the runway with four mirror modules that welcomed the models’ strolling silhouettes. the event took place in the heart of théâtre de chaillot on january 22, 2022 — as part of paris fashion week’s fall/winter collection — after a successful show held by the duo at palais de tokyo where JOEONE made its runway debut.

for this collection, LGN (see more here) merged his grungy, counter-culture style with JOEONE’s (see works here) more traditional vision of menswear to create avant-garde and hybrid attire designs. elevating this blend of fashion tastes, paf atelier’s team punctuated the runway with four reflective polymoir islands. each island mirrors back the architecture of the space and catches the models’ movement as they walk across the installation. ‘like an evening outing, the unfolding of the elements, from top to bottom, gradually brings the characters back to reality,’ shares paf atelier.
