Everything You Need to Know About Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Wedding Venue

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding venue was more than fit to host the fashionable crowd that descended upon it to help the couple celebrate this past weekend. After an unlicensed “practice” wedding officiated by an Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas last month, then a courthouse wedding in Santa Barbara, California, last week, the couple opted for a far more opulent affair in Portofino, Italy, for the main event.

For the ceremony itself, the reality TV star and her Blink 182 drummer beau didn’t opt for just any Italian venue, but rather Villa Olivetta, one of the many Italian properties owned and extravagantly decorated by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The fashion designer pair has owned the property for upwards of 15 years and immediately embarked on a massive redesign after taking ownership with the help of architect David Chipperfield. In 2005, Vogue toured the property’s four structures—Villa Olivetta, Villa La Vigna, Villa Bianca, and Villa Cisterna—that are divided equally between the pair of designers.

From the outside, though grand in size, the early 20th-century Villa Olivetta looks rather simple and dignified, perched on a bayside promontory. Inside, it’s proper maximalism. When photographed by Vogue, the living room featured a large-scale bright blue Hawaiian mural commissioned from artist Michael Lin, while a guest room was dripping in gold, with gold mosaic tiles lining the walls, gold chainmail curtains, and gold leaf furniture designed by Laviani. The interiors blended various periods together, as in the drawing room of Villa Bianca, which featured Baroque chairs and a massive chandelier reflected by a 1970s mirrored table and mirrored walls.
