Euphoria Star Sydney Sweeney Pays $3 Million for Historic Tudor-Impressed Dwelling
She may play a high school student on the HBO hit Euphoria, but in real life Sydney Sweeney is an adult who just purchased her very first home. Dirt reports that the 24-year-old, who plays Cassie on the teen drama alongside Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, and more up-and-coming stars, picked up a Tudor-style dwelling in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles recently for $3 million.
Built in 1933, the 3,200 square foot, five bedroom, four bathroom pad is full of historic charm. For starters, because the double A-frame home is perched atop a hill, there is a furnicular to transport guests who can’t or don’t want to climb the steep front steps up to the entrance from the three-car garage down below. Inside, the space is quite warm, with large wood beams and shutters in the living room, square-paned windows, wood floors throughout, and well-maintained wood cabinets in the kitchen. The main bedroom has a vaulted wood ceiling and a brick fireplace. Listing photos show at least two rooms with painted wood paneling covering the walls. Of course, we don’t know Sweeney’s plans for the home, but she could certainly update the place while still preserving the alluring architectural details.

The lot is on the smaller side at .27 acres, but the grounds include a quaint loggia that leads out to a brick patio, an outdoor fireplace, and a barbeque. Some picturesque—though unruly—foliage decorates the yard, which lacks a pool. Dirt reports that the last time the house changed hands was in 1972, when it sold for $85,500.
