Emma Roberts Pays $3.6 Million For Minnie Driver’s Hollywood Hills Home
Emma Roberts has found a new home in the Hollywood Hills and appropriately she’s not the first star to dwell there. According to Dirt, the actor and co-founder of the online book club Belletrist bought the property from Minnie Driver who’d lived there since 2014. Roberts paid $3.6 million for the 2,730 square-foot traditional-style home and its furnishings.
Said furnishings were curated by Minnie Driver and interior designer Peter Dunham, who’s no stranger to Hollywood clients. His warm and tastefully colorful style is a perfect fit for the quaint three bedroom four bathroom bungalow that has plenty of built-in bookshelves, fireplaces, and diamond-paned windows. Driver extensively renovated the home during her time there, leaving it with appropriately decadent bathrooms and a kitchen that matches the coziness of the rest of the home, but still contains all of the most modern appliances. The backyard is mellow, yet full of character, with a charming brick-floored gazebo and a lagoon-style pool.
There’s no doubt that the home’ll be suitable for Roberts and her magazine collection. “People think I’m a hoarder!” Roberts told AD in 2017. “They come into my house, and there are magazines everywhere, and I’m very particular about people reading them if I haven’t read them, because they’re all organized. People think it’s really crazy. I buy probably 50 magazines a month because I cut out pictures for inspiration and make inspiration boards.” Driver’s primary residence is reportedly in Paradise Cove, an exclusive trailer park in Malibu.
