revitalisation of a national monumentThe former branch of Levensverzekering Maatschappij De Utrecht has become a new cultural and multifunctional centre. After years of design with an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team, this hidden gem was reopened on July 8, 2021. Original design by famous Dutch architects Kropholler and Staal in 1903.A team of designers added contemporary elements to the national monument.

Ceramics by Royal Tichelaar Makkum.The building is a modest stage for artists, designers and writers. Artists focus their artistic spotlight on De Utrecht, making new perspectives visible. Now on display Sea – Planets by Anke Roder.From the end of 2021 de Utrecht offers a great opportunity for (design) meetings in “De Top”.
