CES 2022: human-like beomni 1.0 robotic is right here to help, from drugs to house
beomni 1.0 comes alive at CES 2022
beomni 1.0 is an artificial intelligence-enabled robot that, much unlike cybermen from dr who, assists humans with a wide ranging general array of functions, from medical services to manufacturing tasks and working agriculture to, eventually, space construction. unveiled at CES 2022, it is said to be the world’s first fully functional general-purpose robotic system.

built by US-based firm beyond imagination, the beomni 1.0 robot resembles a human with a form depicting a head, shoulders, waist, arms and hands with opposable thumbs. the humanoid can lift up to 15.88kg of weight per arm like gym-worked muscles, as well as perform finesse, delicate tasks like pinching salt when cooking. four wheels at its base carts the nimble bot around, even through sand, mud and snow.
a robot for remote working
the robot aims to better enable remote working in the digital world as, initially, it can be human-piloted from afar through tasks like manufacturing, agriculture and medical services. with artificial intelligence, though, beomni 1.0 aims to better assist humans by learning to be fully autonomous, meaning more functions can be completed at once.
