budget-friendly ‘ox patagonia’ fully charges in five hours and rides up to 110 km/h
From OX Motorcycles
As an entree to the electric motorcycle market, Spanish brand OX Motorcycles focuses on the essence of design, the use of renewable energy, and the infusion of new technologies into the development of their products. Since its founding in 2019, the Madrid-based brand has been bursting with new additions to its repertoire at a lightning speed, ushering in OX Patagonia as its recent member with the motorcycle design being laser-focused on affordable, adventure motorcycling. It has a 110 km/h top speed, five hours of charging time, an adventure driving mode, longer distance between axes, increased height compared to the previous models of the brand, long-travel suspensions, a more upright riding position, and two available colors in Green Parish and Ocher Baret that resembles golden yellow.
The metal design, adorning both sides of the fairing as well, protects it in any environment, and its off-road tires are suitable for any surface through its 17-inch rear with a motor in the hub and 19-inch spoke front. Side saddlebags in leather hang on the side with a 14L capacity to transport medium-sized objects and a supported weight of 1.55 kilos. Its LED headlight has a built-in windshield and grille for protection and visibility on any terrain, and a glove box and USB socket hide in the space under the tank to store small objects and charge mobile devices. OX Patagonia also incorporates a removable 72V and 60A battery, which can be extracted through the upper part of the tank, weighs 22 kilos, and charges 100% in five hours from any household outlet.

AI Elisa
OX Patagonia also features ELISA, an artificial-intelligence app the brand designed with one main goal: to improve the OX driving experience. It allows riders to be connected with their OX anywhere and to know its location and range. The app can also check the riders’ latest trips or their driving statistics. Its GPS function searches destination and navigate directly on the motorcycle screen or choose between frequent destinations. The brand says that before starting the trip, ELISA will tell if the riders have enough autonomy to make their trip and approximate consumption. Thanks to the 360º sensors incorporated around the electric motorcycles of the bran, they allow detection of other vehicles that are dangerously close to the riders’ OX, and in case of danger, the handlebar vibrates on the side from which the threat is approaching to give riders time to respond to the crisis.

Wild and rough experience
Call the place where the rider takes OX Patagonia extreme, remote, or uneven, the electric motorcycle takes them for a free-spirited ride. The way OX Motorcycles introduces Patagonia grapples with a sense of poetry. ‘A wild and rough experience. A pleasure reserved for the brave, atypical and restless. More power. More traction. More fun. Electric and unstoppable,’ the buzzwords the brand wraps around their product. The brand asks the rider to listen to the sounds around them, soak in the feeling of the present, and take on the adventure without the indeed to bring out a map or pinpoint a destination but to rely on self, the inner compass, to guide the ride.
