When construction at Fort Lauderdale Beach’s Selene Oceanfront Residences wraps in 2024, the 26-story twin-tower development will be the tallest in town.

Designed by Kobi Karp Architects with interiors by ID & Design International, Selene offers a collection of eight penthouses in four unique floor plans, ranging from 5,892 to 6,630 square feet—with four-bedroom residences available in the south tower and three-bedroom options in Selene’s east tower.

Located at 151 N. Seabreeze Blvd, Selene overlooks uber-hip Las Olas Beach. When completed, the property will offer a ground-floor restaurant and resort-style amenities, including two elevated pool terraces.

Listed with Douglas Elliman, Selene’s penthouse collection starts at $10.8 million, with options to combine units.

Queer Eye’s Bobby Berk does Seattle

Queer Eye interior designer Bobby Berk is expanding his brand into the Pacific Northwest, where he just completed two model homes at Woodlands Reserve, a new development in Kirkland, the lakeside Seattle suburb that’s home to campuses for both Google and Tableau software.

Developed by Tri Pointe, the 31-home community at Woodlands Reserve offers 6 three-story floor plans, with prices starting at $1.6 million and move-ins available as early as next month.

In a release, Berk said he drew inspiration from both midcentury-modern design and “Seattle’s natural abundance,” including Mount Rainier and alpine lakes.

One design scheme, Midcentury Modern, radiates contemporary sophistication, pairing high-contrast neutrals with “warm walnuts, saddle and black leathers, vibrant brass, and graphic patterns.”

The other, Serene Scandinavian, has a more tranquil vibe—offsetting white, gray, and eucalyptus green tones with light oak and leather accents.

Designs inspired by Berk’s residences are available for other select homes at Woodlands Reserve, according to Tri Pointe. Homebuyers can also select Upscale Farmhouse or Zen Modern design schemes.
