German luxury mobility brand BRABUS collaborated with Finnish boat manufacturer Axopar Boats and has introduced BRABUS Shadow 900 Black Ops Signature Edition, a watercraft that packs a punch with a combined output of 900hp from Mercury Marine’s latest dual 450R Verado XL 4.6 liter V8 FourStroke engines, offering up to 55+ knots performance with up to 40 knots typical cruising speeds. A Mercury Joystick Piloting leads the water vehicle’s control system including a skyhook digital anchor and autopilot.

BRABUS Shadow 900 Black Ops evolves with the Sun Lounge – which the company states is now standard on all BRABUS Shadow 900 models – due to its expanded social space on the front deck. A new LED searchlight, black engine cowlings with gray or red accents according to individual upholstery color choices, revised fender box panels, wall pockets, and LED bulwark step lights also add up to the exclusivity of the new BRABUS member.

Exclusive brabus graphite black paint job

The design cues of BRABUS Shadow 900 Black Ops Signature Edition include a dark ‘BRABUS Graphite Black’ paint job, an upholstery color choice in ‘BRABUS Graphite’ along with Signature Style graphics and red Signature Stripes that run across the entire exterior design concept, accompanied by sleek hull badges in black chrome.

Since this edition is hand-built, the process of fairing, painting, and polishing may take up to six weeks due to non-automated, thorough, and laborious intensive procedures. BRABUS compares its Shadow 900 Black Ops to a 4×4 on the road drawn from its all-weather capability and sports utility vehicle made for the sea, thanks as well to its fully enclosed weather-proofed cabin.

G-Shock sensor and 1st Mate Marine Safety & Security System

The seven-people raised seating in the cockpit springs together with the large sliding electrical opening sunroof and two large sliding doors that open up the cabin to the outside. The BRABUS Shadow 900 Black Ops also features a dual touchscreen ‘Glass Helm Information Display’ with an updated BRABUS User Interface, including G-shock monitoring, access to the boat’s main navigation, engine management, onboard entertainment, and driving-assist features.

A G-Shock sensor and 1st Mate Marine Safety & Security System are installed to ensure the boat’s safety and security. The company states that the G-Shock sensor helps drivers navigate rough weather in safety while the 1st Mate System, in the form of a bracelet or fob, is connected to a mobile phone and delivers safety alerts, man overboard monitoring, distress messaging, and a theft deterrent.
