Bethenny Frankel Will get Full Asking For Renovated Soho Loft

It looks like all of Bethenny Frankel’s hard work renovating her Soho pad has paid off. Just two months after listing the property for $7 million, the TV personality has sold the spot for her exact asking price, according to the New York Post. Frankel, who previously starred on the Real Housewives of New York and more recently hosted HBO Max’s The Big Shot with Bethenny, purchased the 4,000 square foot property for $4.2 million in 2017, leaving her with a profit of $2.8 million, less construction costs and broker fees.

The two bedroom, three bathroom apartment wasn’t a mere flip job for Frankel–she lived in the space herself and it was featured in a 2018 AD tour once the renovation was complete. Home is particularly important to Frankel. “I am sort of antisocial, which people are shocked by because of my personality. But I don’t really go out much. I’m 90 percent homebody, 10 percent lunatic,” she joked during the tour. Her changes included adding a fireplace (a lengthy approval process, according to her interior designer Vian Abreu), a snack bar, and smart home equipment. What could have been converted into additional bedrooms was instead used to create two gorgeous, spacious walk-in “dressing rooms” and a decadent primary bathroom.

The loft is the second Soho property Frankel has sold in the past few years, though the space she sold in 2019 went for $1 million less than her original asking price of $5 million. She still owns property in the Hamptons and Connecticut.
