Some days when I sit down to write this newsletter I feel a bit paralyzed by the news and happenings of the world. How can I advise you to buy cool lamps or a comfy set of sheets when chaos is closing in around us? But I have to remind myself that while I don’t have a license in dealing with crises, I do have knowledge about design. Perhaps, I am actually being a tiny bit helpful by giving you permission to scroll through beautiful objects—even for five minutes of solace.

As I was getting myself ready for the day, I realized how all the objects in my bathroom have been giving me a moment of bliss. From a colorful toothbrush to a cute little floss container to a super soft hand towel, these daily hygiene products can soothe your body and spirit. So I’m rounding up a handful of my favorites. You can’t solve all your problems today, but you can brush your teeth!
