Aaron Rodgers Buys Modern New Jersey Mansion for $9.5 Million

Back in April, NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets. Now, the veteran football player is officially at home in the tri-state area: according to TMZ, he scored a pad in the Montclair area of New Jersey for $9.5 million. The 39-year-old, who signed a $75 million contract with the Jets, made his debut with the team last month at training camp. His new mansion is less than half an hour away from MetLife Stadium, the Jets’ home turf. When playing for Green Bay, he resided in a 3.50-acre abode in Oneida, which he has retained ownership of despite leaving the area.

Rodgers’s new contemporary dwelling features eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Large windows line the home and provide a spectacular view of the New York City skyline. The gourmet kitchen is finished with sleek appliances and a center island with bar seating. Adjacent to the kitchen is a living room, which features floor-to-ceiling windows. Massive glass exposures can be found throughout the pad, allowing tons of natural light to filter through.

The primary suite is spacious and offers views of the lush greenery that surrounds the house. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, with just as stunning views of the outdoors. The residence boasts a media room, fitness room, home office, three-car garage with a charging station, as well as a wine cellar. There’s also an in-law suite with a private entrance.

The suburban manse is a far cry from the kind of abode the quarterback would likely find in NYC: it features a long driveway, and guests are met with bushes, trees, and landscaped greenery. Stone steps lead to a grand wooden front door and a patio is situated out back, where Rodgers can relax and enjoy his unobstructed view of Manhattan.

Rodgers already owns an impressive list of properties, including a $28 million Malibu pad, homes in Chico, California, and residences in both Tennessee and Texas.
