The first novelty of antoniolupi’s at Salone del Mobile 2022 is Ofuro designed by Carlo Colombo. The built-in or freestanding bathtub is a contemporary form inspired by and celebrating the ancient ritual of the Japanese bath. The large sculpture is seemingly made from a single block, either worked by a skilled crafter or eroded over time by the natural force of water. The design pairs straight lines and sharp edges in coexistence with soft shapes and curved surfaces. Users are invited in through the lowered edge at the front.

Gumdesign creates the discrete, elegant Letteramuta shelving system

Letteramuta created by gumdesign

Gumdesign created the Letteramuta as a discrete, elegant shelving system for the home. Its design references architecture, specifically the construction elements used in steel supporting systems. The shelf functions throughout the house, not just the bathroom. It can be used to display all products for face, hair or body care near the sink or adjacent to the bathtub. It can even be integrated into a convenient towel holder. A central groove is added if used in the shower area so that water flows off the shelf.

Bemade guardaroba designed by carlo colombo

The Bemade Guardaroba expands the Bemade collection of wardrobes designed by Carlo Colombo in 2020. Rigorous yet sophisticated in accents, the design has an intrinsic beauty of balance. There are refined chromatic combinations of surfaces and its frame as well as an interplay of full and empty spaces when shelves are left exposed or closed. The new units carry all the characteristics of the original project but are updated in size and proportions. The modifications mean the design fits into every room of the home now.
