aiok, the rolling digital measure
japanese company Y&Y store introduces ‘AIOK’, a digital measure that can calculate the length of curves and three-dimensional solids just by rolling on them. the new innovative tool is ultra-compact and lightweight, and can be conveniently carried and used with one hand. in addition, it can easily switch between three different measurement units —centimeters, inches, and feet— accurately measuring objects in a wide variety of settings.

safe, convenient, and practical
AIOK can easily measure not only straight lines, but also 3D curves, circumferences, and irregular surfaces, which is quite difficult to calculate with ordinary measuring tapes. the new palm-sized tool has a body of 54 x 54 x 17 mm, weighing only 35 grams. it can be carried anywhere, in a bag or in a pocket, and can be taken out quickly for immediate use. its functional, safe design allows anyone to use it by simply rolling it on any desired element, while no winding is required.
a smart tool with measuring memory
the smart tool is equipped with three modes, which can be switched as needed to accurately measure objects even in the most difficult and inconvenient places. if there is one right-angled corner, the radius of the main body is automatically added, and if there are two right-angled corners, the diameter of the main body is automatically added and measured.
what’s more, the data can be saved in the internal memory of AIOK, so there is no need to take notes for each measurement. the device can calculate long distances up to 9.9 meters at a time. it has a built-in button battery (CR2032) and can be used continuously for up to 30 hours.
