The Blizzbrush 5.0 Toothbrush-Sponge is a radical new toothbrush design conceived by Chris Martin to optimize tooth-cleaning efficiency, cleaning all over the mouth automatically in just a few seconds by simply biting and grinding on the small, silicone sponge brush. The Blizzbrush developer has invented a new category of mouthpiece brushes following ten years of experimentation, development, and manufacturing of high-tech tooth-cleaning tools. In 2019, the tailored 3D printed design concept of Blizzbrush 5.0 Toothbrush-Sponge was optimized, introducing a 100% recyclable and anti-microbial sponge brush that enhances the conventional tooth-cleaning process and cleans all tooth, tongue and gum surfaces simultaneously. A 100% recyclable and antimicrobial cleaning solution

Developed by a team of Swiss-German engineers and dentists, the Blizzbrush 5.0 Toothbrush-Sponge is antimicrobial and perfectly hygienic. The silicone sponge, which can be used for up to three months per piece, consists of an airy, ‘open-cell’ lattice-structure that repels dirt and bacteria, and is easily washable and fast-drying. The one-size-fits-all sponge with improved cleaning qualities can adapt to all kinds of tooth- and denture-sizes, thus eliminated the need of tailoring. While conventional toothbrushes are made of a mixture of plastic, nylon and metal-blades which makes them hazardous for the environment, for the Blizzbrush 5.0 Chris Martin invents a new method of mounting the nylon toothbrush-bristles in the silicone sponges, making the product softer, ergonomic, and easily recyclable.

Within the toothbrush-sponge are biting-slits that compress against the tongue and hold conventional nylon toothbrush bristles, which together with the silicone-sponge fibres, deliver enhanced cleaning efficiency. By biting and grinding for only ten seconds, this reproduces the brushing techniques recommended by dentists, and the sponge is able to automatically reach all tooth surfaces, gums, and the tongue simultaneously with ease and precision to remove bacteria.The sponge adapts to the teeth contours, and the correct toothbrushing technique and correct pressures are applied automatically.
